With summer right upon us, we are really going to chill out this year and host a whole bunch of BBQs, pizza and pasta nights, and eat Mexican food. For each get together, we will crack open a bottle of Â Shiraz for celebrating the occasion. This is because Shiraz is our favorite wine of all times. So far we have already bought and stored a couple of bottles of Seaview Selection Shiraz 2010, which originally comes from one of the oldest and most picturesque areas in the McLaren Vale district. It is a soft, rich and flavoursome Shiraz, made from South East Australian grapes, delivering satisfying spicy, ripe fruit flavours with subtle oak notes well supported by fine tannins. This will go really well with our gourmet pizza sessions as well as our simple mixed grills.

We also plan to buy a couple of bottles of Stonyfell Selection Shiraz 2010. This is because, with its fragrant blackberry fruit flavours balanced by the subtle oak, it imparts a fine-grained tannin texture to the palate. It is guaranteed to please no matter when it’s opened and will really suit our casual occasions, such as our BBQs, pizza and pasta nights, as well as go along with our favorite Mexican food.

I have an old computer table that I often need to move around whenever I have to clean under it. This becomes quite difficult for me as the table is quite heavy. Dragging it leaves marks on the floor as well. Recently, in fact, one of the tiles on the floor became loose when the table’s leg got stuck around it and I accidentally dragged it like that. Thus, in addition to buying casters for my computer table, I plan to also buy some food service casters for my fryers, ranges and other kitchen equipment.

Setting up my college apartment

Once I decided to go to college in New York City, my mom tried to plan everything that she could before I even stepped foot in there.

One of the first things she worried about was getting hughes net satellite internet service once she started looking at wireless internet service. It was pretty easy to set up and I was really glad to have high speed internet New York as soon as I moved in because I realized just how hard it would be to get around and find my classes without a smart phone if I didn’t have a way to look directions for everything up.

The map that I got from student orientation helped a little bit but I also had to look up which subway trains to take and reviews for Chinese take-out restaurants nearby.

I think this year is going to be great and I’m getting along with my roommates pretty well. I think I’m finally ready to take on New York City!

I had been contemplating for the longest time whether to get a mantle clock for my family room or not.
